It’s been a month since I wrote about my journey with Ozempic and weight loss. In that month I’ve lost 15 lbs. I find Ozempic has taken my hunger away. I also get full faster, so I’m eating half of what I normally would during meals. I tend to have my decaf espresso in the morning with a 1/4 cup of 1% milk and that staves off any hunger from overnight, I try to eat something at lunch, an apple for my afternoon snack, and then something for dinner. I don’t always remember to eat, though. I just find I’m not hungry much of the time – to the extent that sometimes I have to make myself eat whether I’m hungry or not because if I didn’t, my mind wouldn’t even think about food until dinner time. Prior to Ozempic, I would graze constantly from dinner to bedtime, but now I don’t. I haven’t started an exercise regime yet, but I’d like to, even if it’s just a walk around the neighborhood. As for side effects, I’ve only had one migraine. I’m so thankful that I’ve felt healthy and vibrant since the start. One funny thing I’ve found – from the first day I took Ozempic I stopped getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I’m very happy to be getting a full night’s rest now. Fingers crossed for continued success!
